Join us for this one night celebration, Aug. 25, 5-8p.

Mies McCall is a 12-year-old living outside of Minneapolis, MN, who’s interested in art, science, computers, Kung Fu, topography, tennis and more. He draws, paints, sculpts, makes digital collages, and is always interested in new ways to make art. This is his first gallery show. 80% of purchase proceeds will go to “Feeding America”.

Artist Statement: While in distance learning during coronavirus I blew off some steam making strange, wacky and occasionally disturbing digital collages on my school iPad all of which I created using images from the web- cutting, dragging and pasting them in the craziest way possible! Some of my works were made just for fun while I was bored or just needed some nonsense and some are a bit more complicated but they’re no less weird!

When I found out that someone wanted to help me do a show I was quite surprised, I knew all the stuff I made was not meant to be professional but they still wanted to show my art, I couldn’t thank you enough for this opportunity to join the art world. Thank you for reading this, I hope you like what I made and just remember to stay strange!
